Seems Blackberry does not support Microsoft Exchange, on reading up, it’s a feature that they just describe as “coming soon” but IMAP works still, so I’ve updated this blog post to include settings for that, just scroll up and read :)

I’ve got a Blackberry, not with a University BES account. Try to put in the server as you’ve said above, but it keeps resetting it to imap.dundee.ac.uk. Any ideas? Thanks

When I tried to set mine up it told me I had to give it extra permissions including the ability to do a factory reset on my device. Needless to say I won’t be syncing until that is explained.
I’ve got a xoom 2 running android 3.2

I see what you’re saying, but unfortunately you’ve got it bass ackwards :)

The whole idea of google apps is that it’s meant to be a stable platform for businesses to run on. Regular gmail is for personal use, and the customers are in almost no case paying for service, and *definitely* have no SLA. (The one exception being that you can pay for more storage in your standard gmail account).

This is why beta features are never available in Google Apps – so that a stable platform for people doing business is maintained.

Worked like a charm on Mint Linux 12. The same concept can be used to invert the horizontal scrolling too, but I hardly ever use it.

Thanks man that worked first time after I spent ages on the Dundee Uni website trying to figure it out. Do you know if Dundee support push mail to mobiles? I can’t get it to work and have to poll manually.

Thanks, good article.

I was thinking of upgrading from Ubuntu 9.04 to 11.04..

My 901 has 4gb with Ubuntu 9.04 and 8gb with WinXP

If I try your method, I guess I will have to lose the WinXP, correct?

Still looking for other solutions.
